I. Fitness & Fundamentals

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS, Fitness & FundementalsClasses in this category focus on the core principles of fitness & develop the fundamental skills needed to excel in all aerial-acrobatic disciplines. These classes introduce new students to AntiGravityʼs unique “sports performance” style and class formatting. These classes are designed to instill healthy habits, explore innovative conditioning techniques and promote progress into advanced-level classes. This category is inspired by an assortment of athletic techniques, such as dance, fitness & sports, and classes are taught either as ground-based classes or in a “ground-aerial combination” format. Students will develop strength, coordination, flexibility, stamina, and poise, all of which are needed to safely progress to advanced-skill disciplines. These supplemental classes have proven extremely beneficial for beginners, professional performers & fitness-buffs alike!

NOTE: All new students are required to attend at least one Level 1 Conditioning/ Fundamentals class before attending all other Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, or Multi-Level classes. See front desk for questions.

This is our Signature Aerial Fitness class, and has become a world-wide obsession! We utilize the AntiGravity Hammock as a yoga prop to stretch and hold challenging positions. The hammock acts as a soft trapeze-like swing, supporting you as you master simple suspension techniques leading to advanced inverted poses. This total-body workout is perfect for students of all levels; from beginners to AntiGravity Professionals!

Details: The class is a complete workout that incorporates cardio, strength training, flexibility, conditioning, joint decompression, zero-­‐compression inversions, and improves body awareness. AntiGravity Yoga also helps decompress tight joints, relieving pressure while aligning the vertebrae of the spine without strain. We guarantee you feel great after taking this class!

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! Multi-level. No experience is necessary. Prerequisite: NONE

This is a conditioning class which integrates aerial arts, yoga, Pilates, and other exercises, all mixed into a unique “aerial workout” at very low heights. The AntiGravity Hammock is used to stretch and perform Pilates-type exercises. This silk-like aerial apparatus provides a safe & comfortable prop during the workout. Everyone, even brand-new students, are encouraged to attend this total-body workout! Itʼs the perfect class for students of all levels; from beginners to AntiGravity Professionals!

Details:
 The class is a complete workout that incorporates cardio, strength training, flexibility, conditioning, joint decompression, zero-­‐compression inversions, and improves body awareness. The AntiGravity Hammock is used as a workout apparatus that provides students with low-impact exercises to decompress tight joints, relieving pressure while aligning the vertebrae of the spine without strain. We guarantee you feel great after taking this class!

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! Multi-level. No experience is necessary. Prerequisite: NONE

This fitness-style class is great for anyone aspiring to be a well-rounded performer. Students will focus on increasing flexibility & range of motion using intensive static & active stretching techniques derived from various disciplines including dance, gymnastics, circus arts, yoga & martial arts. This class also involves muscle-toning exercises using the AntiGravity Hammock at very low heights. Beginners will become acquainted with these flexibility & toning activities, while more advanced students will be challenged using more intense & deeper stretches.

Details: Working individually & in small groups, students will perform flexibility exercises that will improve one’s pike, straddle, split, as well as shoulder and back flexibility. Part of the class will also be spent on developing strength and stability, in order to improve aerial skill control. This class will teach students to identify, relax, lengthen, strengthen, and stretch all parts of the body in a safe manner.

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! Multi-level. No experience is necessary. (Instructors are trained to challenge or modify exercises for each individual based on any personal issues/limitations one may have).

This is a very valuable conditioning class that focuses on improving one’s physical fitness level using the Silk, a standard aerial apparatus. Beginners will be introduced to various exercises, using the Silks & Hammocks to increase grip strength & upper body strength. More advanced students will be challenged with exercises used to improve muscle tone & endurance. This class is very beneficial for students of all levels wishing to increase their overall stamina in the air, especially for individuals who aspire to perform professionally.

Details: Students will learn exercises to improve stamina, strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness. This class is a great way to supplement one’s aerial technique classes in preparation for advanced aerial training. Instructors will focus on body placement & correct technique within conditioning exercises, and will review the benefits of each exercise done in class. Therefore, students will become knowledgeable of exercise physiology, various fitness theories and muscle- building strategies.

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! No experience is necessary. All levels are welcome! Suitable for beginners through advanced-level students.

You will never experience such an intense, unique & challenging- yet surprisingly enjoyable- workout as Gravity-Fit! This new fitness class focuses on improving one’s physical fitness level using a variety of aerial apparatuses and other fitness equipment. This class is taught by certified personal trainers in a high-energy ‘group exercise’ type format.

Details: This class is structured as a energetic cross-training workout, in a circuit style format. Students will learn creative, exercises to improve stamina, strength, endurance, and overall cardiovascular fitness. Students will experience quick, vast improvements in muscle tone and energy level. This is an exciting way to overcome any fitness plateau, or to supplement one’s aerial technique classes in preparation for advanced aerial training.

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! No experience is necessary. All levels are welcome! Suitable for beginners through advanced-level students.

This is an exciting “cardio-conditioning” class that focuses on muscle toning exercises, and targets “trouble spots.” Students will improve overall fitness, with special focus on toning the Abdominals & Gluts using a variety of aerial apparatuses and other fitness equipment.

Details: This class is taught by certified personal trainers in a fun, high-energy format. Students will use creative exercises to improve stamina, muscle tone, and overall cardiovascular fitness. Special attention will be spent on “tummy-tightening” & “booty-enhancing” exercises!

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! No experience is necessary. All levels are welcome! Suitable for beginners through advanced-level students.

In this dance/fitness class, students will learn to utilize basic ballet principles to strengthen the core, and to sculpt & lengthen muscles for a lean & toned “ballet body.” This Fundamentals class is beneficial to students of all levels, from beginner through professional levels.

Details: Training in ballet technique can improve posture, body awareness and musicality. Students will learn correct alignment, and will increase overall flexibility with this total body Pilates-like workout. The class consists of cardio-conditioning exercises, graceful dance moves and basic ballet barre exercises. Ballet-n-Tone class is taught in a casual format, unlike the traditional “ballet barre” type technique class. Students learn “floor-barre” by laying down on mats, and also standing exercises using equipment or by performing skills across the floor. Enhance your lean dancerʼs physique with this creative workout.

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! No experience is necessary. All levels are welcome!

This introductory class teaches students basic tumbling skills and gymnastics fundamentals. Handstand technique will be reviewed, and basic hand-balancing skills will be introduced. Students will focus on developing good form, control and strength in this Fundamentals Class.

Details: AntiGravityʼs expert trainers recommend this class to students who have future aspirations of participating in advanced-skill activities such as Trampoline, Bungee, or Wall Running. The skills taught in this class are extremely useful and necessary to building a strong acrobatic foundation.

Level 1: This L1/Conditioning class is great for everyone! All levels are welcome. Trainers will work with individual students on a one-on-one basis as needed.

II. Aerial Technique Classes

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS, Aerial Technique Classes 1In these classes, students learn to balance, fly & spin on a variety of aerial apparatuses suspended in mid-air! Instruction is focused first on acquiring strong foundational skills that are necessary for all aerial arts, such as precise execution of technical skills, correct body placement, aerial conditioning methods, safety, control & confidence in the air. Aerial Technique classes will prepare students to advance on to specialty aerial apparatuses as they gain overall strength & aerial experience. Higher-level Aerial Classes involve partnering skills, dynamic choreography, intricate trick sequences, and require increased strength & stamina. As students progress through the levels, they can expect improvement in balance & coordination, flexibility, poise, musicality & overall performance quality. A wide range of class levels are available; beginner through professional.

This class is highly recommended for new students with little or no aerial experience, and want to learn the basics. Students will begin learning aerial safety, technique, and fitness. Intro. To Aerials will focus on the ‘standard aerial apparatuses’ including Silk, Aerial Hammock, and Lyra (also known as Aerial Hoop).

Details: This class will help students develop the basic skills needed to perform aerial acrobatics. Each class begins with a short warm-up, consisting of conditioning & flexibility exercises, and then moves into aerial skill instruction, in which basic technique, tricks & combinations are taught. AntiGravity instructors will give one-on-one attention to students who need special modifications based on their level/limitations, or to students who wish to challenge themselves with slightly more advanced skills. Intro. To Aerials is a great way to strengthen one’s aerial technique, and also explore multiple aerial dance disciplines, which may help new students discover their favorite apparatus.

Level 2: Beginner level class; suitable for students with little/no experience and also intermediate- level students.

Prerequisite: Students are required to attend at least one Conditioning class before enrolling in this class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This class introduces beginner-level students to the Silk, which is a classic, popular aerial technique. The Silk apparatus is attached to the ceiling and looks similar to a light & airy curtain. Students will learn to gracefully manipulate the Silk creating beautiful shapes, poses & also building strength. “Silk 4 Beginners” is designed to provide a general foundation of skills that can be translated among all aerial arts, as well as increase muscle control that will allow students to progress in all aerial disciplines. The instructor will cater to the personal needs of each student, focusing on learning & “cleaning” technical skills.

Details: Students will start by learning basic climbing techniques, poses and other skills that will improve strength, confidence, balance, flexibility, and grace. As students become stronger, they will advance to more difficult skills involving inversions, foot/hand locks, and skill combinations/transitions. This is an exciting class that will build foundational skills used in various aerial arts.

Level 2: This class is for Beginners. Recommended for students with little/no aerial experience. Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this

technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This class provides a general foundation of Silk skills that can be modified in many ways for multiple levels. Students will spend time learning new tricks and perfecting basic skills, while also increasing overall strength & control. In this multi-level class, the instructor will cater to the personal needs of each student, focusing on “cleaning” technical skills & introducing new challenging skills.

Details: Students will review basic climbing techniques, poses and other skills that will improve strength & muscle tone, balance, flexibility, and grace. As students become stronger, they will advance to more difficult skills involving inversions, foot/hand locks, hip keys, and skill combinations/transitions. Students will improve performance quality, as they continue building strength & poise.

Multi-Level: This class is appropriate for Beginner through Advanced-level students.

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This class will build on material learned in previous lower-leveled Silk classes. The class focuses on mastering aerial technique and improving overall performance quality. Students will learn challenging skill sequences, including inverted climbs, dynamic transitions & exciting Silk drops. In this Intermediate/Advanced-level class, the instructor will cater to the personal needs of each student, adapting the class material as necessary.

Details:
 This class will focus on perfecting climbing techniques, poses and other skills that will improve strength & muscle tone, balance, flexibility, and grace. As students become stronger, they will advance to more difficult skills involving inversions, foot/hand locks, hip keys, skill combinations, and drops. 
Intermediate and Advanced students will continue learning more challenging drops, transitions, spin combinations, and creative choreography.

Level 3/4: This is an Intermediate/Advanced level class.

Prerequisite: At least one L1/Conditioning class. Also, to be considered ‘Intermediate’ level, students must be able to perform 2 consecutive pull-ups, 2 consecutive v-ups, and perform 2 standard silk climbs without coming down. (12 years & up.)

This is a “performance skill based” class, involving skills that are similar to AntiGravity Yoga (“fitness- based class”). This class introduces students to the silk hammock aerial apparatus, a longer, more versatile version of the apparatus used for AntiGravity Yoga fitness classes. It is similar in appearance to an Aerial Silk, but requires less initial upper-body strength. This makes Hammock an ideal apparatus for beginners to start developing basic aerial technique, build core strength & control!

Details: The Aerial Hammock apparatus highlights the performer’s flexibility and demands control using fluid transitions. Beginners will first learn to move gracefully in and out of the silk, developing confidence on the aerial apparatus. Students will learn progressively more difficult hammock poses & transitions structured around a short sequence of lyrical choreography. More experienced students may begin working on more advanced skills such as spins, inversions & drops.

Level 2: This is a Beginner level class.
Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this

technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This class focuses on “performance skills” involving the silk sling-like aerial apparatus. It is similar in appearance to an Aerial Silk, except that is rigged like a “loop,” allowing the performer to lay inside the hammock. In this class, students will learn a variety of new skills & dynamic choreography. This graceful aerial technique also builds core strength, flexibility & endurance!

Details: The Aerial Hammock apparatus highlights the performer’s flexibility and utilizes fluid lyrical movement. This Intermediate/Advanced-level class will build on skills learned in previous Beginner- level classes, and requires basic knowledge of hammock skills. Students will learn progressively more difficult hammock poses, transitions, spin sequences, & drops. More advanced students may begin working on partnering skills & duet choreography.

Level 3/4: Intermediate/Advanced-level class. Suitable for Intermediate through Professional levels.

Prerequisite: At least one Conditioning class and/or Beginner Hammock class. Also, to be considered ‘Intermediate’ level, students must be able to perform 2 consecutive pull-ups, 2 consecutive v-ups, and perform 2 standard silk climbs without coming down. (12 years & up.)

In this class, students will be introduced to the spinning circular apparatus called a Lira or Aerial Hoop. This classic aerial apparatus is versatile & dynamic, providing students with useful foundational skills that can be translated on to several other specialty apparatuses.

Details: First, students learn how to safely mount, dismount, hang & spin on this apparatus. Basic aerial skills are reinforced as students learn progressively more difficult skills & short combinations with focus on developing whole-body control, coordination & strength. More experienced students will focus on developing spin velocity, and other intermediate & advanced skills such as inversions, and complex transitions.

Level 2: Beginner level class; suitable for students with little/no experience and also intermediate- level students.

Prerequisite: Students are required to attend at least one Conditioning class before enrolling in this technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This class will utilize exciting combinations of beginner & intermediate leveled skills that will improve strength & muscle tone, balance, flexibility, and grace. Students will also gain experience with learning aerial choreography, and will improve performance quality.

Details: As students become stronger, they will advance to more difficult sequences involving inversions, foot/hand locks, hip keys, and skill combinations/transitions. Students will gain confidence while performing fun Silk combinations, as they continue also building strength & poise.

Level 2/3: This is a Beginner/Intermediate class.
Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this

technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This is an innovative ‘combo’ class, in which both apparatuses will be utilized in a variety of ways. Students will learn creative conditioning exercises, skill technique, and choreography combinations on both Cube & Lyra.

Details: Aerial Cube can be performed as a solo, duo or trio act. In this class, students use the cube structure to contort their bodies, creating graceful living sculptures spinning in midair! Students will learn transitions and skill combinations, while also building strength and stamina on the Cube. The Lyra (or Aerial Hoop) is a spinning circular apparatus. This versatile apparatus is exciting & challenging. Beginners will learn how to safely mount, dismount, hang & spin on this apparatus. When students have gained sufficient upper body strength, they will progress to more difficult skill combinations, as well as innovative choreography on both the Cube & Lyra apparatuses.

Level 2/3: This is a Beginner/Intermediate level class.
Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this

technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This class is designed for new students ages 8 to 12 who wish to become acquainted with Aerial Arts. Students will focus on aerial technique, and also explore multiple aerial dance disciplines, which may help new students discover their favorite apparatus.

Details: This class will help students develop the fundamental skills used in aerial acrobatics, as well

as strength and flexibility. Instructor will focus on safety, body awareness and correct technique as students experience a variety of aerial apparatuses including (but not limited to) Silk, Hammock, and Aerial Hoop. The class begins with a short warm-up, consisting of conditioning and flexibility exercises, and then moves into aerial skill instruction, in which basic skills, tricks & combinations are taught. Instructor will give one-on-one help to students who need special modifications based on their level/limitations, or to students who wish to challenge themselves with slightly more advanced skills. ʻKid’s Mixed Apparatus” is a great way to begin learning aerial technique, and also allowing young students to explore multiple aerial dance disciplines.

Level 2: Beginner level class; suitable for students with little/no experience and also intermediate- level students.

Prerequisite: Students are required to attend at least one Conditioning class before enrolling in this class. (Ages 8-12 years only.)

The Straps are a thin, web-like aerial apparatus used for acrobatic tricks similar to gymnastic rings. This exciting technique highlights strength, control & flexibility. This “multi-level” class will start with the basics, build strength, and progress into more intricate choreography.

Details: In this class, students will learn basic poses & wraps as they become familiar with the apparatus. As students develop muscle control, they will begin learning more difficult rolling manoeuvres & skill combinations. Advanced students will begin learning “partnering skills,” in which two individuals fly together on the Straps performing synchronized duet choreography.

Multi-Level: This class in appropriate for beginner through professional levels, however, basic aerial experience is recommended.

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This is a creative ‘mixed apparatus’ type class designed for aspiring aerialists ages 10-16, who wish to spread their wings & explore new aerial dance techniques.

Details: Students will learn skills on a variety of aerial equipment. They will twist & twirl in the Silks, fly on the Cube, and float in our Hammocks! Students will also be introduced to Net, Web, & Harness. They will focus on technique & will improve balance & flexibility, while also developing grace, strength & coordination.

Level 2/3: This multi-level class is perfect for beginners through intermediate, ages 10-16. Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this

technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This is an exciting new class, in which a variety of aerial apparatuses are experimented with. A combination of rigging systems and specialty aerial equipment (such as Silk, Aerial Cube, Hammock, Lyra, Harness, Spansets, etc.) are used to create new skills & routines. Solo, duet, and group choreography is explored.

Details: Half the class time will be spent reviewing skills on standard & specialty apparatus, then the second half will be used as a sort of “workshoping session.” The instructor will direct students to try new ways of utilizing aerial equipment, and encourage creative input. This class is a great way for aerialists to challenge themselves & expand his or her horizons through new aerial techniques!

Level 3: Intermediate/Multi-Level class. Some specialty apparatus may require some intermediate/advanced skills, however, students may work at their own speed/level.

Prerequisite: At least one Conditioning class and/or a Beginner-level aerial class is suggested. Also, to be considered ‘Intermediate’ level, students must be able to perform 2 consecutive pull-ups, 2 consecutive v-ups, and perform 2 standard silk climbs without coming down. (12 years & up.)

This class uses two classic aerial apparatuses, Lyra & Aerial Silks, to create a new & exciting apparatus that students can climb, spin, and dangle from. In this innovative class, students will learn to combine Silk Drops, Lyra Tricks, and even Partnering Choreography, making this class like no other!

Details: Students can expect to learn creative skill combinations & transitions, and will develop strength, control & flexibility. This “multi-level” class utilizes solo, duet & group choreography, which will encourage & improve “performance quality” in students. This new aerial apparatus is the perfect fusion of grace & energy!

Level 2/3: Beginner/Intermediate level class. Beginner-leveled students have certain height restrictions. (See instructor for details.)

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

 

III. Extreme Acro-Sports

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS, Aerial Technique Classes 2These classes involve intense specialty disciplines that fuse dance and sport, and are performed on an assortment of specialty equipment. AntiGravity’s trademark “athletic performance style” is the combination of extreme sports and artistic expression, which has been translated into classes in this category. These exhilarating classes include some of AntiGravityʼs most well-known and innovative performance techniques that have been showcased around the world by AntiGravityʼs professional athletes, such as Bungee, Wall Running/Repelling, Trampoline Wall, AntiGravity Boots, Partner Acrobatics, Chinese Poles, Harness, Wheel, etc. Extreme Acro-Sports classes provide an exciting experience and a challenging total-body workout!

This ʻmixed apparatus class” allows students to try a variety of AntiGravityʼs unique specialty equipment, which are categorized as Extreme Acro-Sports. This describes innovative disciplines that fuse dance and sport, and are performed on an assortment of aerial-acrobatic equipment. AntiGravity’s trademark “athletic performance style” is the combination of extreme sports and artistic expression. This exhilarating multi-­level class allows students to learn these specialty skills and to experience several acrobatic sports disciplines that are not normally available to take in group classes, such as Bungee, Chinese Poles, Wall Running, Trampoline, Harness, Wheel, etc. (*Subject to availability.)

Details: Part of class will be spent learning new skills on one or more chosen specialty apparatuses, and part of class will be used for conditioning exercises & to train the technical skills needed to perform Extreme Acro-Sports. This class challenges gymnasts to explore advanced acrobatic techniques, and allows Extreme Sports Enthusiasts to test their skills on the newest AntiGravity toys!

Multi-Level: Intermediate/Multi-Level class. Some specialty apparatuses may require some athletic experience and/or prior aerial training. However, students of all levels may attend this class, and may work at their own speed. (Beginners may be restricted to moderate heights. See instructor for details.)

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This multi-level class focuses on handstand technique, a key foundation skill for many circus, acrobatic & aerial arts. Students will learn correct alignment, and develop strength & control in various acrobatic poses. This class is highly recommended to students who are also interested in learning other advanced-level activities such as trampoline, pegs, partner acrobatics, contortion and other acro-sports. The skills taught in this class are extremely useful and necessary to building a strong acrobatic foundation.

Multi-Level: All levels welcome, beginner through advanced. Multi-Level.
Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this technique class.

In this class, students will learn traditional ground-based hand-balancing technique utilizing a partner. Students will build on acrobatic fundamental skills, creating impressive shapes that demonstrate strength & control. Partners will also perform handstands, planches, & other more challenging equilibristic maneuvers in this class.

Multi-Level: Multi-Level class. Some experience may be necessary, however instructor will cater to the abilities of the students attending class.

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this technique class. (Students under 12 years old must be approved by the instructor.)

This class may require basic gymnastics experience. The instructor will review tumbling skills, and then translate them onto our “Olympic-style” Trampoline. Students will learn correct trampoline technique and exciting bounce sequences, then move on to more challenging flip combinations. This class is a great cardio workout & will improve overall fitness.

Level 2: This is a Beginner level class, but is great for Intermediate students as well. Previous gymnastics is recommended but not required. (See instructor for questions.)

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one Conditioning class before attending this technique class.

This class requires some previous gymnastics or acrobatic experience. Int/Advanced Trampoline is an exciting & intense class for athletic students, taught on our “Olympic-style” Trampoline. Highly trained, AntiGravity professionals will teach students trampoline bounce sequences, and a variety of flips & advanced tumbling combos. Advanced-level students will begin learning signature AntiGravity skills using the “Trampoline Wall.”

Details: AntiGravity Orlando’s large “Trampoline Wall” is custom built into our stage & is also used for professional performances. This class will challenge even our most advanced students, and will improve overall fitness.

Level 3/4: This is an Intermediate/Advanced level class. Previous gymnastics or acrobatic experience is required.

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one Conditioning class before attending this class, and excel at skills taught in the Beginner Trampoline class. Also, students must be able to perform a “Standing Back Tuck” to be considered “Level 3,” and to attend this class. (Please see instructor for further questions.)

Trampoline Wall is one of AntiGravityʼs best-known “signature acts.” This acro-sport style class utilizes the large Trampoline Wall (Olympic-style trampoline), which is custom built into our stage & is used for professional performances. Students get the opportunity to use this equipment to learn a variety of flips, bounce combos, and flashy “tricking” sequences. This class will challenge students, and also improve overall fitness, gymnastic skill & stamina.

Level 3: This class is appropriate for Intermediate level students through professional. Some experience may be required. (See instructor for further questions.)

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one Conditioning class before attending this class, and excel at skills taught in the Beginner Trampoline class and/or Tumbling class.

Chinese Poles are vertical poles of aluminum on which acrobats climb, hold poses & perform trick combinations, demonstrating incredible strength & control. This “multi-level” class will develop foundation skills, and progress into impressive professional-level choreography.

Details: Skills performed on Chinese Poles demand upper body & core strength, as well as correct alignment & technique. Our experience AntiGravity Professionals will instill these important foundational aspects that will also translate into other areas of Aerial Acrobatics. This fun and challenging class is perfect for aspiring performers!

Multi-Level: Multi-Level class. Some experience may be necessary, however instructor will cater to the abilities of the students attending class.

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one L1/Conditioning class before attending this technique class.

This class utilizes a unique combination of Pole Fitness, Chinese Pole Technique, Pilates exercises, and Acro-balance skills. Students will learn to engage their core & build upper body strength. As students gain strength & stability, more advanced acrobatic tricks will be demonstrated, including intricate poses, inverted skills, flag positions, and partnering choreography.

Details: Everyone (including male & female students, ages 12 & up) is welcome to try this exciting & challenging class. Unlike typical “Pole Dancing” classes, this one does not focus purely on ʻsexy, flirtyʼ choreography. Instead, students will learn conditioning exercises and impressive athletic skill combinations, with just a hint of sassy choreography. The class sometimes utilizes the normal spinning poles, and sometimes uses the big “Cubeology” structure instead. See instructor for details. (No stiletto heels please; bear feet or rubber soled sneakers work best.)

Multi-Level: Multi-Level class. Some experience may be necessary, however instructor will cater to the abilities of the students attending class.

This class is great for anyone aspiring to be a well-rounded performer. Students will focus on increasing flexibility & range of motion using intensive static & active stretching techniques derived from various disciplines including dance, gymnastics, circus arts, yoga & martial arts. As students progress, they will learn more advanced ‘contortion type’ stretching exercises.

Details: Working individually & in small groups, students will perform flexibility exercises that will improve one’s pike, straddle, split, as well as shoulder and back flexibility. Part of the class will also be spent on developing strength and stability, in order to improve aerial skill control. This class will teach students to identify, relax, lengthen, strengthen, and stretch all parts of the body in a safe manner.

Level 2/3: Beg/Intermediate level class. Suitable for all levels from beginner through advanced.

Prerequisite: Students are required to take at least one Conditioning class before attending this class.

An assortment of advanced aerial skills & stunt-work can be performed using specialized harnesses. AntiGravity Orlando utilizes three standard types of harnesses: Single Point (“bird” harness), Double Point (basic bungee harness), and Repel (climbing harness). These techniques are best taught in small group workshops or during private lessons. Please see front desk for more information, or to schedule lessons.

Details: The AntiGravity Theater features two custom-designed aerial fly systems: a state-of-the-art “Wall Running Track”, and a “Circle Flight Rig” (also known as “Peter Pan Fly System”). This innovative aerial equipment allows individuals to perform unique acrobatic harness work suspended 40 feet off the ground! Various advanced tricks & specialized skills are taught using single & double point harnesses.

Private Instruction Only: Best for Intermediate, Advanced and Professional level students.

AntiGravity Boots are used by our professional performers as an Extreme Acrobatic apparatus, in which spring-loaded stilts launch athletes in mid-air! This type of specialty equipment is reserved for advanced & experienced athletes only. AntiGravity Boots are like stilts on steroids! They provide an exciting tool for artistic expression, as well as a challending cardiovascular workout for jumpers. Students will learn exciting new tricks, jump combos and flips, as well as safety techniques. This class will help performers improve form, core & leg strength, balance, coordination, and stamina. (Available for private instruction only.)
